As we continue to grow our network and expand our Operations Control Centre (OCC) team, we are delighted to be able to offer more opportunities on our exciting Airline Operations Apprentice Programme. Our OCC is the central control centre for our entire global network, and the teams that work within it are responsible for ensuring our flying programme is delivered every day in a safe and compliant way, while remaining very focused on our customer experience and aircraft punctuality.


As an Airline Operations Apprentice you will complete structured modules in some of the key areas of the OCC (Network Operations including Flight Planning, Customer Care and Ticketing, and Crewing) In addition you will be visiting to our Heathrow Airport Base and be exposed to various customer facing roles across Check-in, Ticket Desk, Transfer area, departure gates, and directly with the aircraft, on ramp operations. There will also be opportunities to spend some time in our aircraft maintenance hangar and Cargo operations at Heathrow.


Day to day

This is a great opportunity to gain a valued qualification, whilst being paid, and to also work in a variety of environments which will give you a fantastic view of how the airline industry operates. You will be a part the core operations team providing support across multiple teams that are essential to a smooth journey for our customers. The skills you acquire during your journey will lay the foundation for a successful career within the OCC or wider Customer and Operations team. 


This opportunity will involve completion of a Level 3 Ground Aviation Apprenticeship. At the end of this 15-month programme you will be given guidance and assistance to enable you to apply for opportunities across the operations team and wider business, that best suit you and your career ambitions.
